the wine
The 2013 Chardonnay was matured in new French oak barrels while undergoing sur-lie aging – a process of letting a finished wine continue to sit on the lees to extract flavors – and light blending for 10 months. Golden in color with a hint of green, this wine displays aromas of butter apple, smoky pear and lemon zest. Flavors of cinnamon, crème brûlée and star fruit complement the balanced acidity on the palate.
